BUTFF x CULTfilm

Welcome to BUTFF x CULTfilm, a series of films like no other! BUTFF is a unique film festival for B-movies, underground and trash films, held twice a year in Breda. Because these films are rarely screened elsewhere, Theater De Generator will host five screenings, selected by BUT programmer Dani van Duin. Each screening features an eye-opening introduction by Dani, and in some cases, the director will also stop by to give more info about the film.

Welcome to this wondrous world of cinematic gems you’ve definitely never experienced before! So grab your chance!

Urtoben: Vienna’s illegal Artforms – Bastian Brandstötter

A documentary about people with some very unusual hobbies
In Vienna, street artists and urban explorers risk their lives to create art in hidden and forbidden places. Illegal artists and explorers challenge social boundaries and put their lives on the line, not for recognition but out of pure dedication to art. In one of Europe’s most liveable cities, culture and prosperity come at a price. But what happens if you refuse to pay it? This documentary explores the complexities faced by people who refuse to express themselves within the confines of the norm and who attempt to claim spaces not intended for them — even if only for a moment.
