BUTFF x CULTfilm Movie screening
Welcome to BUTFF x CULTfilm, a series of films like no other! BUTFF is a unique film festival for B-movies, underground and trash films, held twice a year in Breda. Because these films are rarely screened elsewhere, Theater De Generator will host a series of screenings, selected by BUT programmer Dani van Duin. Each screening features an eye-opening introduction by Dani, and in some cases, the director will also stop by to give more info about the film.

Trapped in an increasingly strange space, Ismael and Daniela must face unexplained signals, absurd decisions and a threat that seems to come from somewhere else: the Audreys, an alien presence whose invasion could put all of humanity at risk.
With a B-movie spirit, dark humor and a clear genre drive, The Thing in the Fog turns a single location into its own universe: a closed cockpit where the absurd, the cosmic and the human collide as the threat of the Audreys becomes inevitable. A genre film contained in form but ambitious in imagination, where two unlikely characters end up facing the fate of all humankind.
