Podium Sleutelwoord is hét podium voor Leidse interdisciplinaire woordkunst en voordracht. De line-up bestaat uit Marthe van Bronkhorst en nog 6 anderen. Verwacht een avond vol prachtige poëzie, muziek, performances en meer.
Tijdens de Kinderkunstroute kunnen kinderen in De Generator het hele weekend hun rebelse kant ontdekken! Beeldend kunstenaar en activist Sjors Knol knutselt op de zaterdag met de kinderen aan creatief activistisch materiaal en op zondag lopen we met alles in een strijdbare kinderdemonstratie naar het stadhuis!
In onze nieuwe serie (ny)ss tonen we uitsluitend ‘nieuwe theatermakers’ en gaan we na de voorstelling met hun in gesprek. Lees waarom Theater De Generator toegewijd is aan nieuwe makers, maar ook vraagtekens stelt bij begrippen als ‘opstapje’en ‘springplank’?

On Friday afternoon, June 28 at 3 pm, a street performance will take place by Theater De Generator, on the Catharinabrug in Leiden, called (Don’t) Hit Me Leiden One More Time, inspired by the pop song by Britney Spears. Dance and audio fragments are used against police violence against the LGBTQIA+ community, then and now.
