We zijn op zoek naar workshop -deelnemers voor een activistische kunstworkshop waarin theater, spoken word, ontwerp en beeldende kunst samenkomen.
De revolutie begint in de verbeelding, niet op de barricaden.
Rehearsing the Revolution laat ons zien hoe verhalen de wereld maken, wat onze mogelijkheden en verantwoordelijkheden zijn in relatie tot de verhalen om ons heen. In hoeverre vertellen wij ons eigen verhaal of laten wij onze gedachten overheersen door de dominante narrativen?
Rehearsing the Revolution is een collaboratief storytelling game, waarin we de werkelijkheid vanuit verschillende perspectieven en waarheden kunnen ervaren en ontdekken wat ons bindt. Tijdens het spel oefenen we ons in het verbeelden van een radicale verandering, een revolutie.

Over SPACE
SPACE is een kunstenaarscollectief uit Boedapest en Amsterdam. SPACE maakt interactieve documentaire performances en immersive storytelling in diverse media. De projecten zijn altijd cultuurspecifiek en de deelnemers of toeschouwers zijn de hoofdrolspelers.

Rehearsing the Revolution shows us how stories make the world, what our possibilities and responsibilities are in relation to the stories around us. To what extent do we tell our own story or do we let our thoughts dominate through the dominant narratives?
Rehearsing the Revolution is a collaborative storytelling game, in which we can experience reality from different perspectives and truths and discover what binds us. During the game we practice in imaging a radical change, a revolution.
